ReezaFRATzitz
Also added are the ingenious circuit: 'untrue bypass' that at Emma electronic is known as 'the overlord of the beast'. There are many myths about mechanical true bypass. In a pedal like this and the coming PisdiYAUwot, you will want and you will get the 'untrue bypass' circuit.
PisdiYAUwot
Update: Its ON!
Pushing circuits to the limit and beyond, raises issues that are very difficult to control. But after a lot of scrutiny, we finally managed to figure out how to harness the immense evilness of the PisdiYAUwot and the wast amount of gain in the ReezaFRATzitz. After much joy and happiness (and exhaustion) we have set the production wheels in motion. The PisdiYAUwot still amazes us - getting that kind of sound, from a pedal, is hard to believe, even when you sit there chucking away with it sitting in your lap. The hardest thing is to withstand the temptation to turn it up way too loud trigging ones resting tinnitus.
(from september 2009)
The PsidiYAUwot metal pedal is putting up a struggle. This beast from beyond the borders of hell, will not behave like we want it to. At Emma Electronic, we are obsessed with perfection. We will not release a product that acts up and behaves like a spoiled brat.
Right now, we are exploring ways to get around the PisdiYAUwot's antics, without spoiling its hardcore personality.
It's a challenge, but we wont give in.
We'll keep you posted on this.

NEW!!!
We had a lot of oppinions about existing pedalboards, but instead of complaining, we made one with all the improvements we could think of. We made it by designing a special aluminium extrusion profile, that are made specifically for the AmARHyll. The end gables are also made of solid aluminum and are colored in black or white powder coating.
It's a pedalboard that you assemble yourself, and why is that? Because a pedalboard is very personal, and what you want, might not be what anybody else wants. A pedalboard is very much a DIY thing, we like to keep it that way and deliver you the parts you need.
We deliver 3 standard sizes 44cm wide, 61cm and 76cm. They come with hardcases. The cases have a little extra space for cables.
The standard package contains: 5 black powder coated aluminium extrusion profiles, 2 powder coated aluminium end gables in black or white, 38mm wide velcro for the board. 20 mm velcro for the pedals. Screws and 10 strips for cabling.

Next step is ordering all the parts and components and setting the production wheels in motion, unfortunately that is a process that takes time. The ReezaFRATzitz will be ready for sale late September.

The Combination
The StinkBug works extremely well as a pre gain
device into other overdriven gadgets. Using it as a
'sound tightening' device on high gain amps works
wonders. But i also works great in combination with
other distortion and overdrive pedals. The tune
Aluminimum, was recorded using the StinkBug running
straight into the ReezaFRATzitz. Give it a listen.

Uffe Steen and Steffen Brix Blues Night
On Wednesday June 24, Steffen Brix, Eddi Jarl, Steffen Bækgaard and Uffe Steen rocked the House at Fairbar located in Aarhus, Denmark. The sensational night, was recorded by Emma Electronic and will be released on CD in the near future. Fairbar was packed and the enthuthiastic crowd witnessed a great concert with the band.
Uffe Steen and his StinkBug
Uffe Steen is a living legend on the danish music scene. He is very particulate about his gear and doesn't settle for second best. Being left handed with the strings upside down, makes most other guitar players dizzy trying to figure out what is going on, when Uffe plays his Strat. Uffe is very excited about Emma Electronic's StinkBug overdrive pedal. You should try it too, it is quite addictive.

StinkBug for metal
The StinkBug has spread like a forrest fire into all kinds of genres. Violinists, keyboard players, bass players and of course guitarplayers use their StinkBugs to color their sound. With renowned metal producer Tue Madsen, the StinkBug has found its way into the metal scene.
Here is what he says at his Antfarm website: 'I would like to also mention some friends of mine who make some outstanding pedals. Emma Electronic have come up with an overdrive pedal to end all tube screamers. Together with my old Marshall Master volume that I got back after living without it for more than a decade, it is pure art! But it also works wonders to all my other amps getting that gain and tone just right. It's called Stinkbug. Go get it'

StinkBug and PisdiYAUwot getting ready for production
One thing is to make a great prototype another thing is to make a production version where every pedal sounds equally as good as the prototype. We are very happy to announce that our production model sounds better than our much beloved prototype. We got quite emotional when we learned that we managed to improve the sound and that we are able to produce StinkBugs in large numbers that sounds better than an amazingly great prototype. We are so proud and very happy to introduce this pedal for all of you musicians out there, we are convinced that you will love it as much as we do.
The PisdiYAUwot, the beast, the bastard, the devil, has been a handful. It is a true metal pedal, no doubt about it, but controlling it was a challenge. Just recently, we managed to figure out a way to keep the devil inside on a leash.
We will bring both pedals with us to the NAMM 09 show in Los Angeles and will put the PisdiYAUwot into production when we return home.
We wish you all a Happy New Year

The settings of the StinkBug, is as shown on the picture, all the way through including the solo. The rythm guitar is dry, the solo has a slight echo on the left.

New pedals entering boxed prototype status
We’ve been working hard on redesigning our most
popular pedals.
They will still sound the same, but the demand has been so overwhelming, that we had to reconsider the whole production-line to keep up.
In the proces of redesign, we also developed 3 new overdrive pedals. Those have until now been just a pcb with knobs and wires. But today, we’ve ordered the finished pcb’s and will have a few prototypes made for testing, before putting the pedals into final production.
StinkBug
We wanted to make a great ‘classic’ overdrive, that have the best of whats out there, but keeps the body and character of the guitar intact.
We worked really hard on getting the mids to respond well, and the highs and lows to be right for blues rock and pop. We also chose a circuit that have a particularly nice warmth to it.
The low and high controls gives a great control of the amount of mids in the pedal. Turn them both down, and the midrange comes out, but without being nasal. Turn them up, and the mids gets slightly scooped, still keeping the sound full and punchy.
This pedal works great for blues, pop and rock. It sings well and has great midrange respons.
PisdiYAUwot
One thing we think that noone has really nailed yet, is a great pedal for metal. Most of them seems to be either too muddy or to slow for the really fast riffs. We thought that we needed to build a pedal, that had a low end punch that resembles beating sheet metal with a big hammer. We also wanted a pedal that was able to scoop the mids the Dimebag way and to push up the mids the NuMetal way. Full mids with body that is.
We worked really really hard on achieving this, and we’ve done stuff that noene has done before in a distortion pedal, doing things that are considered politically incorrect, in engineering terms. But we did it anyway - why? Because it worked! We don’t care about specs and fine numbers. We care about music and musicians. Because we are musicians ourselves, we know what you guys are talking about.
We absolutely think we got this one right. It kicks major butt, and have surprised everyone we played it for. If you are into metal or at least into heavy riffing rock, this is a must hear. I’m not a metalplayer myself, but I have to have my daily fix of the PisdiYAUwot.
By the way, the name PisdiYAUwot. What does it mean Angus Podgorny? It sort of means a ‘contraption’ - with the difference that this is a contraption that actually does work!
Leyenda
The Leyenda is a bit of a scitzoid. Keeping the gain low, gives you a full bodied blues amp style chrunch. But turning it up, it suddently transforms into a AC/DC like rock cut through distortion. It is as if it changes personallity.
We were a bit surprised by this sideeffect, but chose to keep it for one simple reason: It sounds awesome! So its sort of a two in one kind of beast.
It will work really well for blues rock guitarplayers, that likes to push through a mix or live, beating chords, or for straight up blues. It comes with both high and low pots, making it possible to shape ones sound perfectly.
No matter i you play SG’s, Strats, Tele’s or Les Pauls, this is a dynamic sidekick, that makes your notes stand out.
The pedals are now going into the final prototype fase and will go into full production (if nothing goes wrong) in august/september.
We are looking forward to getting these ourselves.

PisdiYAUwot
At Emma Electronic we just finished developing a pedal for Metal. We really gave it a lot of thought, and through the years we've collected a lot of experience on the needs of metal guitar players. We have put all that experience in this pedal, which is specifically aimed at metal. You could probably use it for other styles as well, but we made it for metal. Surprisingly it also works well for bass. The PisdiYAUwot will be in stores late summer 2008.
But what about the name - In the Danish language there are a lot of names for a thing without a name or a thing you don't know the name of. In English you'd call it a 'thing' or a 'thingy' - In Danish you can call it: 'Dippedut, duppedit, dingenot, himstregimst' and so on - in southern jutland of Denmark, You call a thingy a Pisdiyauwot, which means a contraption of some sort. So there you go - PisdiYAUwot is a contraption for Metal!
